Notes 8 and pre-Domino 8 server compatibillity statement

The Lotus Notes 8 client is supported with the Lotus Domino 8 server, however, configurations which include a 7.0.x or 6.5.x Domino server will be supported for a reasonable period of time needed to upgrade both products to the newer version.

Some of the new Notes 8 features will not be available in these configurations. Additionally, using a Domino 8 server with the Notes 8 client is recommended to achieve optimal server performance and scalability. These limitations will be noted when the product is generally available.
